Cherry cake

Cherry cake

Wash the cherries well, remove the stalks and remove the seeds.
We separate the eggs from room temperature.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt.
Mix the yolks with the sugar until they double in volume, add the oil, then the milk.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and gradually incorporate them.
Put the vanilla extract, then the egg whites and mix lightly with a spatula, from bottom to top.

Grease a tray with margarine and line it with baking paper (tray size: 24x37).
Pour the composition, level it, and put the cherries on top.
Put the cake in the hot oven, at a suitable temperature, for 30-35 minutes, until it browns nicely.

When it is ready, take it out to cool and serve.
